La temporada premios se prepara para dar inicio en enero del 2024 con la revelación de los nominados a los Globos de Oro, galardón que reconoce lo mejor del cine y la televisión, y cuya gala es la tercera más importante después de los premios Oscar y los Emmy.
En esta oportunidad, las películas Barbie, de Greta Gerwig, y Oppenheimer, de Christopher Nolan, se alzaron con el mayor número de nominaciones: nueve y ocho, respectivamente. Por su parte, en las categorías correspondientes a televisión, The Last of Us (HBO), Succession (HBO) y The Crown (Netflix) son las producciones que más se destacaron durante el 2023.
La ceremonia tendrá lugar el domingo 7 de enero a las 8:00 pm (hora del este), y se transmitirá en vivo por la cadena CBS, mientras que en streaming podrá disfrutarse por Paramount+ y en el app de CBS.
Killer of the Flower Moon (“Los asesinos de la luna“) y Poor Things (“Pobres criaturas“) también están entre las grandes competidoras, con siete nominaciones cada una.
Entre los actores nominados figuran Emma Stone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cillian Murphy y Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
La serie Succession encabeza las nominaciones para la TV con nueve en total, incluyendo mejor serie dramática.
Otras series nominadas son Only Murders in the Building (“Solo asesinatos en el edificio“), The Diplomat (“La diplomática“), The Morning Show y The Crown.
La película surcoreana Past Lives (“Vidas pasadas“) es la cinta con más nominaciones en la categoría de películas de habla no inglesa, con cinco nominaciones en total.
Las nueve nominaciones de Barbie incluyen a Margot Robbie como mejor actriz en un musical o comedia, Ryan Gosling como mejor actor de reparto y Greta Gerwig como mejor directora.
Tres de las nueve nominaciones de la película son por mejor canción original Dance The Night por Dua Lipa, I’m Just Ken por Ryan Gosling y What Was I Made For? por Billie Eilish.
Oppenheimer está nominada por logros cinematográficos y de taquilla, una nueva categoría introducida para la ceremonia de 2024 que tiene como objetivo dar más reconocimiento a las películas populares entre el público.
Christopher Nolan está nominado a mejor director, mientras que Emily Blunt también ha sido nominada por su papel secundario en la película.
Cillian Murphy es uno de los seis nominados a mejor actor de drama por su papel en la película biográfica sobre J. Robert Oppenheimer.

En las categorías de TV, Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) y Meryl Streep (Only Murders In the Building) fueron nominadas a mejor actriz de reparto.
Con 33 en su haber, Streep ostenta el récord al mayor número de nominaciones a los Globos de Oro.
Taylor Swift también recibió su quinta nominación, esta vez en la nueva categoría de taquilla por Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. Sus nominaciones anteriores fueron todas por mejor canción original.
La otra nueva categoría añadida para 2024 es comedia stand-up. Ricky Gervais, Trevor Noah y Amy Schumer están entre los nominados.
En cuanto a distribuidores, Netflix lidera las nominaciones con 28 en total: 13 por películas y 15 por shows de TV. HBO I Max tiene el mayor número de nominaciones para TV: 17 en total.
Aún no se ha anunciado quien presentará la ceremonia. Animadores pasados incluyen a Ricky Gervais, Jerrod Carmichael, Seth Myers, y Tina Fey y Amy Poehler.
